Your prospective job:

You are acting as an Engineer for Test Means Operation and Maintenance (m/f/d) for our prestigious client in the field of aerospace industry at the location Donauwörth.

Your responsibilities:
Responsible for test systems availability
Monitoring availability and services
Proactive resolution of identified errors
Investigating root causes and coordinating test system support for the software Test activities in the area of avionics development
Collection of requirements, specification of functional requirements
Validation of the tool suite in your operational environment
Development of smaller tools for support activities in the area of maintenance
Lead the diagnosis and resolution of problems in the area of avionics test systems
Installations of new tool suites
Proactive monitoring of the applied test systems (hardware and software) and Ensuring the implementation of the measures
Collaboration with the IT department to ensure correct IT support
Responsible for the continuous improvement of test systems and processes in order to Enabling end users to improve their efficiency (test automation)

Your profile

Completed studies in engineering, aerospace or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in engineering and aerospace
Experience in project management and coordination of smaller projects
Experience in support is an advantage
Very good knowledge in MS-Office
Confident handling of Windows and UNIX/Linux
Knowledge in programming languages, including Python and C, C is an advantage
Fluent English skills spoken and written
French is an advantage
Willingness to make occasional business trips to France
