Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the software development industry.
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience in IT, including leading teams of a dozen or more people as a line manager.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, with prior technical experience being a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, solve problems, collaborate in teams, and build trust-based relationships.
  • Experience representing the company in front of clients and partners.
  • Fluent in Polish and English at a minimum B2+ level (mandatory).
  • Nice to Have: Experience working with AI specialists/Data Scientists and/or knowledge in these areas.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of 30 to 65 members (depending on experience), ensuring the professional growth and engagement of software engineers.
  • Making decisions regarding salaries, promotions, and career paths.
  • Representing the company to clients, particularly in acquiring new projects (pre-sales) and showcasing company expertise.
  • Collaborating with Recruitment and Employer Branding teams to hire new software engineers and fostering their retention within the company.
  • Allocating specialists to projects, considering both company needs and employee development goals.
  • Supporting T&M and body-leasing projects and occasionally preparing technical sections of sales proposals (infrequent).
