In Corporate Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development, we shape the automotive generations of the future! We create innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. Today, we are already working on vehicles that will ensure Mercedes-Benz's technological leadership in the future, particularly in the areas of Connectivity, Autonomous Driving, Shared Services, and Electric Mobility.
Our department is responsible for the MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) platform, the central backbone for Mercedes-wide Requirements Management and System Engineering. This provides the foundation for the development of systems and components from specification to testing. We do this in close coordination with the specialist departments and our global, internal, and external IT partners.
Your future team consists of approximately 18 highly motivated and friendly colleagues who look forward to your support. We always work for and with each other, and we collaborate with passion. We maintain open communication at eye level, characterized by a constructive and honest style. We work with state-of-the-art technologies and methods, such as within an Agile Release Train according to SAFe, and we continuously expand our toolset.
Remote work is our standard and well-established, but we still look forward to meeting in person regularly. With us, you will take responsibility for developing a AI based specification Tool together with a dedicated SCRUM Team and take on diverse and exciting tasks with a significant impact on the entire Mercedes-Benz organization.
Your tasks:
- Agile Development: You will be part of an agile development team and work on the implementation of an AI-based web application
- Large Language Model (LLM) Evaluation: You will evaluate the results of large language models and contribute to the further development of the application
- Software Development: You will support the implementation and improvement of the application with your knowledge in Python
- Project Work: You will independently take on tasks within the project and actively contribute to finding solutions
Qualifikationen
- Course of Study: You are studying Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field
- Programming Skills: You have solid knowledge of Python and ideally experience in web application development
- Interest: You are passionate about software development and have an interest in AI technologies
- Optional: Knowledge in DeepEval, Langfuse, and LangGraph is advantageous
- Personal Competencies: You work independently, have an analytical mindset, and are a team player
- Fluent English skills
This is a temporary position with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
